Our guide meets you at the hotel and then take you out of busy Bangkok and head to the West part of Thailand. Kanchanaburi is a province that is well knows for the history of World War II.
JEATH MUSEUM Visit JEATH Museum to look back at the history while they were really suffering during the period to build the bridge.
DON RAK CEMETERY Situated not far from the bridge is Don Rak or Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, another important World War II-related place as it is where remains of the prisoners of war who had died while building the railway were buried.
BRIDGE OF RIVER KWAI This steel bridge is one of important historical landmarks and memorials in Thailand. It is almost a symbol of the province and is a recommended place in Kanchanaburi travel guide. The history of the bridge is well known, as it was part of the railway lines in World War II and had seen its share of conflict and bloodshed. After World War II, the damaged bridge was renovated by the Thai government in 1946.
The Bridge of the River Kwai Memorial Week is held from late November to early December every year, where there is an exhibition about World War II and the history and archaeology of the bridge. Folk performances, local goods markets, and other entertainment are also scheduled at the event.
You will take a short train from the station at the bridge to Tham Kasae station where will can see the beautiful cave next to the railway.
ERAWAN WATERFALL After that we take you to one of the popular waterfalls in Thailand Erawan. Arrive at the waterfall, and enjoy Lunch at a local restaurant where you might have a chance to try a menu of freshwater fish from the river. After lunch, you will take a walk to the waterfall and enjoy swimming and relaxing. And you can spend time there till 3.30 pm then prepare to leave.
Depart from Kanchanaburi and head back to Bangkok.

Pick up at your hotel and depart from Bangkok to Ratchaburi province for Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. On the way visit the coconut sugar house. You will experience how they made sugar from coconut and try fresh young coconut juice.
After that continue to the jetty pier and board a long-tailed boat ride for about 30 minutes, passing through remote plantations and Thai villages along the river and winding canal. At the floating market of Damnoen Saduak, it is amazing to see a lively market scene of local vendors selling local foods, tropical fruits, and numerous handicraft products on their boats.

Chiang Mai Arrival – Evening Wat Umong and Doi Suthep Temple

18.30 Evening tour will start with Wat Umong. Wat Umong is a 700 year old temples nestled in the forest at the foot of Doi Pui mountain. The temple here is famous for its underground tunnels and large Chedi, there is also a field containing broken Buddha statues, the twilight hours is definitely the best time to visit this atmospheric temple. Following Wat Umong the tour will proceed to Chiang Mai’s most famous temple, the most sacred temple upon the hill with its enormous mythological Nagas staircase of 306 steps and inside the cloister is an intriguing copper-placed chedi topped by five-tier gold parasol, which contains relics of Lord Buddha. Enjoy the unique views of Chiang Mai at Night and will see the city lit up below.

You will enjoy a delicious lunch of traditional Thai food and fresh fruit, before being reunited with your elephant friends. You will have the opportunity to bathe and brush the elephants while they enjoy wading through the water. Next, it will be time for a therapeutic mud spa. Feel free to get muddy as you cover the elephants in a protective layer of mud. Have fun playing with them and watch as they joyfully frolic in the mud spa.
12:00 Leave the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary and drive approximately 1.5 hours to Chiang Mai.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, the most significant temple in Chiang Mai. The temple is located on the top of the mountain, and there are 300 stairs to climb with two dragons railing rising along both sides.
You’ll also visit the 14th-century Wat Suan Dok, a white bell-shaped temple housing a 20-foot (6-meter) Buddha. See the large prayer hall and the unique open-sided chapel, then enjoy an opportunity to chat with a monk about Buddhism and temple life.

– Mae Klang luuang Nature trail. This trail will get you well away from the main tourist route and allow you to see a very interesting cross-section of this stunning national park. The trail will first follow a forested route downhill before the trail meets the river. You will spend some time following the river. The trail will pass Pa Dok Siew Waterfall where at the base if you want to cool off please feel free to take a dip in the cool waters. The trail will eventually open out into agricultural land which surrounds Mae Klang Luang Karen village. you will see coffee bushes and rice paddies. We will make a stop at a local coffee house where they roast, hand grind, and prepare freshly brewed coffee from the hills surrounding the village.
Spend some time at the Old City’s famous landmarks, such as Wat Phra Singh, an opulent 14th-century temple complex. For shopping, don’t miss the San Kamphaeng Road. Also known as Handicraft Highway, it stretches for 11 miles (18 km) and is the place to buy artisanal crafts like pottery and silverwork. Just outside the old quarter is 19th-century Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, a gleaming golden temple that’s especially spectacular at sunset. And after dark, Chang Klan Road is the place to be, as it comes alive with street-food vendors and stalls.
If time permits, you can visit San Kamphaeng Hot Springs, a 90-minute drive from the city. This open-air spa features hot-water geysers shooting 65 feet (20 m) into the air. The springs are a great place to soak in mineral baths while enjoying the landscaped gardens. For a more active excursion, travel a couple of hours from Chiang Mai to Bua Tong National Park, for a jungle hike and to climb the famous Sticky Waterfall. The white stones that comprise this cascade have a sponge-like surface, giving them grip underfoot.

For dissatisfaction with any service Responsible Asia has provided, please notify your local tour guide or your travel advisor immediately to avoid the potential for similar problems happening again during your trip.
In the event of a complaint or claim for compensation, you must inform us by email, regular mail, or facsimile in writing within 15 days from the end of your tour. Relevant receipts and substantiating evidence must be attached to the letter of claim. Responsible Asia will not be liable for any claims made later than 15 days after the completion of your tour.
