Itinerary

Day 1Welcome To Vietnam - Hanoi Arrival

Your Indochina adventure begins with your arrival in Hanoi. Your private driver will meet you at the airport, holding a signboard with your name. He will escort you to your accommodation right in the heart of the city, with the fascinating Old Quarter at your fingertips. You can easily explore the city at your own pace or relax at the hotel after the flight.

Day 2Get Away From The Big City With Ba Vi Eco Tour (B/L)

Location:  Moc village, Ba Vi district, Hanoi (About 68km from central Hanoi city, about 1.5 hours by car)

Highlight:

Harvesting tea leaves on a traditional, 30-year-old Tea Plantation

Cooking with a friendly local host

Visiting local workshops in the village

Cycling across the rice field and villages

Traditional Foot Soak with herbs following the traditional recipes of Muong ethnic minority

08:00 – Private guide and car pick you up at your hotel/residence.

09:30 – Arrive to Ri village where you will start the trip at your host’s house with a welcome drink. Meet Duoc (Mr.) – a Vietnam War veteran and tea-farm owner who tells historical stories with his own experience.

10:00 – Follow Duoc to his vast tea-farm and learn how to harvest tea leaves. This is a green and peaceful place where you can enjoy beautiful scenery of the village. You may then help him pick tea leaves, and be shown how to collect the best part of the tea tree to make the most wonderful beverage of Vietnam – the traditional tea. Carry on with the process of producing tea at his small workshop, most of the works there are manual.

11:15 – Have a ten-minute drive to visit another host family in Moc village where you will enjoy a fun cooking class with Chin (Mrs.). She will show you how to cook some Vietnamese dishes and you will then enjoy lunch with food you helped cook.

13:30 – Stroll around the village and visit some local families to understand rural lifestyle and learn how tofu, conical hat and other local products are made.

14:45 – Enjoy a cycling trip through beautiful paddy fields and interact with local farmers by chance.

15:30 – Wrap up your countryside tour by a traditional foot bathing in warm water with herbs, following the traditional recipes of Muong ethnic minority. This will relay you (and your feet!) after cycling around the village.

16:00 – Drive back to your hotel/residence in Hanoi.

Day 3Lost Yourself In The Stunning Landscapes of Ninh Binh (B/L)

7h30-08h30: Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. We take you to Ninh Binh province which is far from Hanoi city about 120 km.

9h30 : Have a short break for 20 minutes to relax

10h30: The first destination in this trip is visit Hoa Lu ancient capital. This is the first capital of Vietnam. Come to visit Hoa Lu, you will learn about why the capital was moved to Hanoi nowadays. You are impressed on an outstanding architecture when entering temples of King Dinh and King Le, the first and second emperors of ancient Vietnam, built in the 17 century. Try to feel ancient atmospheres in Hoa Lu ancient capital.

11h45: Have buffet lunch in the restaurant with a lot of local foods goat meat, fried rice… Vegetarian food is always available in the buffet lunch.

13h00: Visit Tam Coc by 1,5 hour bamboo boat. During the boat trip, you will be surprised by the charming beauty here with paddy field, river, water, cloud, sky and stuning cave system. All make  a masterpiece which Vietnamese people called “ Halong Bay on land “

14h30: Continue the tour with 45 minutes for cycling around the village to discover the life of local people.

15h30 – 16h00: Come back to our shuttle bus to return to Hanoi

18h30: End your memorable day with Hoa Lu – Tam Coc Day Trip in Ninh Binh. Get dropped off at Hotel in Hanoi.

Day 4Be Blown By The Breathtaking Scenery Of Halong Bay (B/L/D)

Halong Bay is a natural wonder of the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site, and once you arrive there, you will understand why. Get ready to be amazed by the world’s most breathtaking views, and have a relaxing time on the cruise, enjoying the exciting activities we have prepared for you.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and leave Hanoi for Halong Bay.

The cruise team will meet you at the hotel lobby between 8:00-9:00 am (we will confirm the exact time the day before the tour).

Arrive at the jetty around noon and take a boat to the cruise. After a welcome onboard and check-in, lunch will be served while the cruise is making its way through the hundreds of islets.

In the afternoon, enjoy some activities such as swimming and kayaking or visiting caves (depending on each boat’s itinerary), or just spend relaxing time on board.

Towards the end of the day, the boat sets anchor for the night in a beautiful place, so don’t miss the sunset before having dinner.

In case of bad weather, the itinerary might be changed or canceled if the boats will be not allowed to leave the port. Your travel consultant will plan other arrangements for you in this case.

Day 5Halong Bay - Back To Hanoi (B/L)

The sun rises on Halong in the morning, and breakfast is served while the vessel cruises slowly back toward the port. Enjoy an early lunch before arriving at the port and disembarking. You will be transferred back to Hanoi. The rest of the day is free to explore the city on your own.

Day 6Travel From Hanoi to Siem Reap (B)

Relish the remaining moment in Hanoi before your private driver escorts you to the airport to take the flight to Siem Reap. When you arrive at Siem Reap International Airport, your driver will pick you up and transfer you to your accommodation. The rest of the time is free at leisure. 

Overnight in Siem Reap.

Note: in particular days the flight from Hanoi to Siem Reap could be with a stopover in Ho Chi Minh or Da Nang.

Day 7Explore the Spectacular Temples Of Angkor Wat (B)

Have breakfast at the hotel and get ready to explore the famous Angkor complex. Start your exploration with the visit to the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the best-preserved holy Buddhist gateway to Angkor Thom, built in the 12th century. Then visit Bayon Temple, The Royal Enclosure, Phimeanaka, the Elephant Terrace and Leper King Terrace. Continue to Ta Prohm, a famous temple covered by trees growing out of the ruins. This temple is the one, where the most impressive scenes of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider were filmed.

After lunch, you will visit Hindu temples Thommanon, Chaosay Tevoda, and Ta Keo, the small, attractive temples in a good condition, built all the same time as Angkor Wat. Then continue to Angkor Wat – one of the “7th Wonders of the World” and a World Heritage Site since 1992. Famous for its beauty and splendor Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology.

After visiting Angkor Wat, you will get to the top of Bakheng Hill for the sunset viewing. Bakheng is the first temple constructed in the Angkor area. This mountain temple offers extraordinary views of the Tonle Sap and Angkor Wat.

Day 8Travel From Siem Reap To Phuket (B)

Relish the remaining moment in Siem Reap before your private driver escorts you to the airport to take the flight to Phuket. When you arrive at Siem Reap International Airport, your driver will pick you up and transfer you to your accommodation. The rest of the time is free at leisure.

Day 9Phuket Leisure (B)

Free at your leisure to discover Phuket by yourself. Phuket is a beautiful destination for sightseeing and adventuring. The island itself is rife with diverse landscapes, from its famous sandy beaches to forested hills, mountains, limestone cliffs, low plains, lagoons, and lush tropical vegetation. Spend your time exploring the stunning beaches, have a hike to the waterfall for a picnic, or take a boat trip to explore other islands nearby.
