Itinerary

Day 1Hanoi Arrival

Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport, after clearing all customs procedures, please proceed to the exit gate and look for your driver, who will be waiting in the lobby, holding the signboard with your name on it, if you cannot locate your driver, please go to the Airport information counter situated in the middle of Domestic and International arrival lobby (inside the terminal) and call the emergency numbers provided by your travel advisor for assistance. Your driver will come to meet you up and transfer you to the hotel for check-in and free at leisure.

Day 2Day Trip To Incense Village, Hat-Making & Lacquer Art (B/L) – Group Tour

Pick up at Old Quarter by tour guide.

Begin your adventure in Ha Thai village, renowned for its lacquerware production since the17th century. Meet a celebrated local artisan who will introduce you to this traditional artform. Under their expert guidance, you’ll have the opportunity to create your own lacquerpainting as a unique souvenir.

Next, journey to the 300-year-old Chuong village, famous for its conical hat making. Wanderthrough the village and, depending on availability, either visit a war veteran to hear personalstories from the Vietnam War or meet other local artisans to learn about their daily lives. Enjoy a delicious home-cooked lunch prepared by a local female artisan, immersing yourselfin authentic Vietnamese hospitality.

After lunch, try your hand at painting your own hat orjoin in the hat-making process with guidance from skilled craftspeople.

Complete your artisanal tour at the vibrant Quang Phu Cau incense village. Walk through thevillage center to observe family-scale incense production. Visit a household specializing indyeing incense sticks and capture stunning photos of colorful incense bundles.

The experience culminates with a tour of the village’s largest incense factory, where you’llwitness the entire production process and gain insights into the lives of rural workers.

17:00 – 17:30: Your journey concludes with a return to Hanoi, with the option to be droppedoff at the famous Train Street or another location of your choice.

This full-day tour offers a comprehensive immersion into Vietnam’s living craft traditions,combining hands-on experiences, cultural insights, and visual spectacles.

Day 3Hanoi – Pu Luong (B/L/D) Village Life | Water Wheels | Rafting

07:00 AM: Pick up at your hotel in the Old Quarter area. Expect a 4-hour drive without heavy traffic.

10:00 AM: Stop for a 15-minute rest break halfway through the journey. Enjoy picturesque village landscapes along the way.

12:00 PM: Arrive at Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Have lunch at a local restaurant. Check-in at your reserved room (standard check-in time 14:00) and relax at your own pace.

01:30 PM: Afternoon leisurely walks.

Transfer to Ban Cong and start a 2.5km walk. Cross a suspension bridge to reach one of Pu Luong’s most scenic villages, where the largest stream flows through. Along the river, admire stunning landscapes, rice fields, and village life. Seek for the giant water wheels, a remarkable creation of Vietnam’s mountainous ethnic minorities. Difficulty level 2/5.

Arrive at Chieu Lau dam and embark on a bamboo rafting experience. Paddle the raft upstream with locals and have fun.

03:00 PM: The raft lands on the other side of the river. Embark on another 2km trek through rice fields and villages, completing a loop trail. Meet the transfer at the main road and return to the hotel for relaxation by 05:00 PM.

Evening: Culinary exploration and leisure

Optional cooking class for those interested. Enjoy a delicious dinner at 7:00 PM, followed by free time to relax. This concludes your first day in Pu Luong.

Day 4Pu Luong – Hanoi (B/L) Iconic Rice Terrace | Local Brocade

07:00 AM: Enjoy breakfast and prepare for the day’s activities. Be ready by 8:30 AM.

08:45 AM: Take a leisurely stroll down the valley to Don village, renowned as the epicenter of Pu Luong. This area boasts a gentle road that winds through vast terraced fields. With every step, you’ll witness the captivating transformation of the scenery. As you continue your walk, you’ll come across Uoi hamlet. When viewed from above, this hamlet nestles humbly at the base of the towering mountain. We assure you that this landscape will be a visual delight and may even fill up your phone’s memory card with its beauty.

Descend the hill to Lan Village, often referred to as the “Kingdom of Thai People in Pu Luong,” home to around 100 Thai families. You can opt for a leisurely bicycle ride (optional) or take a relaxed stroll around. Here, you’ll encounter the soothing sights of cool streams, verdant farmlands, ducks joyfully paddling in ponds, and friendly locals going about their day. You’ll have the opportunity to observe their everyday activities, marked by simplicity and humility, with a special focus on their traditional brocade sewing. Take this time to engage with the locals and learn about their craft. After that, transfer back for check out your room by 11:30 and have lunch.

01:00 PM: Prepare for the bus journey back to Hanoi. Expect to arrive at your hotel in Hanoi by 6:30 PM, barring heavy traffic. The tour concludes at your Hanoi hotel.

Day 5Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D) (shared cruise)

You will arrive in Hanoi early in the morning, we will take you to the hotel to have shower and breakfast and have some rest before departing to Halong Bay. 

Halong Bay is a natural wonder of the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site, and once you arrive there, you will understand why. Get ready to be amazed by the world’s most breathtaking views, and have a relaxing time on the cruise, enjoying the exciting activities we have prepared for you.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and leave Hanoi for Halong Bay.

The cruise team will meet you at the hotel lobby between 8:00-9:00 am (we will confirm the exact time the day before the tour).

Arrive at the jetty around noon and take a boat to the cruise. After a welcome onboard and check-in, lunch will be served while the cruise is making its way through the hundreds of islets.

In the afternoon, enjoy some activities such as swimming and kayaking or visiting caves (depending on each boat’s itinerary), or just spend relaxing time on board.

Towards the end of the day, the boat sets anchor for the night in a beautiful place, so don’t miss the sunset before having dinner.

Day 6Halong Bay - Hanoi - Travel to Hoi An (B/L)

The sun rises on Halong in the morning, and breakfast is served while the vessel cruises slowly back toward the port. Enjoy an early lunch before arriving at the port and disembarking. You will be transferred to the airport in Hanoi to take your flight to Hoi An.

Upon arrival, your driver will meet you and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free time.

Day 7Hoi An Fishing, Boating and Cooking (B/L) (Join group tour)

Discover the authentic lifestyle of the locals in Hoi An’s countryside and spend an amazing time in the idyllic villages. 

Meet your guide around 8:30 am (we will confirm the exact time the day before the tour) and head to the local food market to experience shopping like a local and buy the ingredients for your lunch. Then head to the Cam Thanh eco-village and immerse in the beauty of nature while you are wandering around. Then hop on the unique Vietnamese basket boat and cruise down the river through the palm forest to your next venue for fishing. After the fishing experience, get back to the village and learn how to cook Vietnamese meals, which you will have for lunch. 

Have some rest after lunch and get back to your hotel around 13:00.

Day 8Hoi An Free Time (B)

Hoi An is a charming town that is perfect to explore by yourself. We recommend you rent the bicycles at your hotel and cycle around the town. You can visit An Bang beach and have a relaxing time there. Or you can visit the old town area, which is especially charming during the evening time when hundreds of lanterns are lit creating a special atmosphere. Hoi An is also famous for its tailor shops which can create an item for you within overnight, so why not try making a piece of close or a pair of shoes?

Day 9Hoi An - Travel to Ho Chi Minh - Taste of The Night (B/D)

You will be picked up at your hotel lobby and transferred to Danang airport for your flight to Saigon. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to the hotel for check-in and free time.

Taste of The Night

At 5:30 pm, your personal English-speaking tour guide will be waiting for you in the hotel lobby to greet you. We will provide you with a quick briefing on how to ride safely and what you need to do while seated behind us on the motorbikes. Hold on tight, and let’s begin an exciting adventure!

We will go with the flow of traffic during the rush hour but we guarantee it’s not a big problem since we are good drivers. After 20 – 25 minutes, we will be completely outside of those tourist destinations and be at real local vendors, where you have a chance to try Vietnamese pancakes while learning about the history and also special significant of each dish.

Your will enjoy Vietnamese noodle soups are a beloved comfort food and an essential part of Vietnamese culinary culture. (Bun Bo Hue, Banh Canh or Mien Ga).

At this point, you will probably be quite full, so let’s take a short sightseeing, zip around the city, feel the cool of the weather, take a look at our amazing nightlife and slowly fall in love with Ho Chi Minh city.

Are you feeling relaxed? Get ready to experience a traditional Vietnamese-style street barbecue. There’s nothing more authentic than grilling various types of meat on a mini oven placed right on your table and enjoying it right away. And how about washing it all down with some local cool beer? It’s the perfect spot to grab a drink and unwind.

Are you full now, cause we still got our last stop for the dessert. Let’s try some Vietnamese sweet desserts that will leave a great taste and impression about our cuisine.

10:00 pm, we will drive you back to your hotel. Tour ends and see you next trip!

Day 10Mekong Delta Exploration (B/L) (Join a group tour)

Mekong Delta is one of the most important regions of Vietnam, which supplies rice and fruits for the entire country. This is why Mekong Delta is also called the “rice bowl” o Vietnam. Exploring the maze of mangrove-lined riverways and visiting the local workshops and gardens will be a highlight of your holiday and will show you the countryside life of Southern Vietnam.

Have breakfast at the hotel and get ready for the pick-up between 7:30-8:00 am (we will confirm the exact time the day before the tour). Hop on the shuttle bus and take your way to My Tho. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, which dated back to the late 19th century. Then board the sampan and cruise down the river around beautiful river islands. 

Have a stop on one of the islands to have a walk and explore the country lines and visit the orchards, where you can taste the tropical fruits while enjoying the folk music performance. 

Get back to the sampan to cruise through the Thoi Son canal and soak in the beauty of the countryside. Stop at another village to visit the local workshop to see how the coconut candies are made and see the honeybee farm. Treat yourself to honey tea and candies and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. 

Have lunch in the local restaurant and have some rest. In the afternoon, its a time for a cycling trip around Tan Thanh village to observe the local lifestyle. If you are not keen to cycle, you can relax in the hammock or just walk around the village. Then return to Ho Chi Minh, the approximate arrival time is 17:30.

Enjoy some free time in the morning before transferring to the airport for your onward flight back home.
