Pick up at your hotel and depart from Bangkok to Ratchaburi province for Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. On the way visit the coconut sugar house. You will experience how they made sugar from coconut and try fresh young coconut juice.

After that continue to the jetty pier and board a long-tailed boat ride for about 30 minutes, passing through remote plantations and Thai villages along the river and winding canal. At the floating market of Damnoen Saduak, it is amazing to see a lively market scene of local vendors selling local foods, tropical fruits, and numerous handicraft products on their boats.

Day 4Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai Arrival - Evening Wat Umong and Doi Suthep Temple

Chiang Mai Arrival – Evening Wat Umong and Doi Suthep Temple

Welcome on arrival in Chiang Mai, you will be warmly collected and transferred to the hotel to check in. Take a short rest to relax. Meals on your own. 

18.30 Evening tour will start with Wat Umong. Wat Umong is a 700 year old temples nestled in the forest at the foot of Doi Pui mountain. The temple here is famous for its underground tunnels and large Chedi, there is also a field containing broken Buddha statues, the twilight hours is definitely the best time to visit this atmospheric temple. Following Wat Umong the tour will proceed to Chiang Mai’s most famous temple, the most sacred temple upon the hill with its enormous mythological Nagas staircase of 306 steps and inside the cloister is an intriguing copper-placed chedi topped by five-tier gold parasol, which contains relics of Lord Buddha. Enjoy the unique views of Chiang Mai at Night and will see the city lit up below.

Day 5Doi Inthanon National Park & Mae Klang Luang Nature Trail

Experience the incredible nature around Chiang Mai on a private tour. On a two-hour journey, you’ll pass by paddy fields and ascend into the mountains of Doi Inthanon National Park, part of the Thanon Thong Chai Range. You’ll stand on the country’s highest point, at 7,041 feet (2,146 m), where two magnificent pagodas mark a viewpoint over the mountain tops. Bring warm clothing! The climate is cooler here year-round.
 
Then, head to a Karen village to observe the local way of life and browse their colorful craft market. On the return trip, you’ll stop at the 262-foot (80 m) high Wachirathan Waterfall to marvel as its vapor lingers above the jungle canopy. You’ll then follow the Ban Mae Klang Luang nature trail, which will take you away from the main tourist track on a forested route that runs downhill to meet a river. You’ll eventually reach Pa Dok Siew Waterfall, where you can cool off with a swim.
 
Eventually, you’ll reach the Karen village of Mae Klang Luang. Here, coffee is the most important crop—you’ll have a chance to visit the coffee house where they roast, hand-grind, and prepare coffee. Try a cup on-site and if you like it, buy a bag of ground coffee to take home.

You can get to Lamai Beach or Maenam Beach if you want something quieter. They’re less crowded and less developed and are the perfect places to explore untouched nature. 

You can trek through the jungle to see Hin Lad Waterfall and the nearby temple and reward yourself with a refreshing swim in the waterfall after the trek. If you want a panoramic view of the island – get to the Lamai Viewpoint; it’s an easy walk with picturesque scenery. From here, you can take a zip line ride.

Do I need to make a deposit? What is the payment process for my booking?

You will be required to pay a deposit when booking with Responsible Asia. The deposit will be 10% of the full payment. All deposits are non-refundable. Final payment is required no later than 30 days prior to departure unless otherwise stated. Some airfares or services must be paid in full at the time of booking.

What is your cancellation policy?

We would deeply regret your decision to cancel your trip to Vietnam and Indochina; however, we realize that there are many reasons for this event.
In the event of cancellation, we will refund any payment made to Responsible Asia Asia given that a cancellation fee is applicable.
The cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:
+ 60 days prior to arrival date: No cancellation charge. We Guarantee 100% Money Back. + Airfare cancellation fees (according to the airline’s cancellation policy) if any
+ 59 – 30 days prior to arrival date: 5% cancellation charge. + Airfare cancellation fees (according to the airline’s cancellation policy) if any

Can I change itinerary?

Alterations to your itinerary before the booking is processed are happily processed free of charge. We want to provide the best tour possible for you. Alterations after you have received your booking confirmation letter will attract a fee of $10 USD per request.
Realistic Asia reserves the right to modify the itinerary of the tour if air schedule or surface transportation changes, and/or events beyond its control make such alteration necessary. In this event, any of the increase or reduction of the tour cost will be calculated and charged accordingly. If the tour is to be changed at the request of the client(s), the client will be required to pay any additional cost in advance.

What travel documentations should I prepare for my trip?

All clients must be in possession of a valid passport and necessary visas or permits at the commencement of travel. All such documentation is the sole responsibility of the client. Your travel advisor may assist you in applying for the necessary travel documentation upon request. Responsible Asia accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for the failure of clients to obtain appropriate documentation.
 

How I can make complaints and claims if any problems during my trip?

For dissatisfaction with any service Responsible Asia has provided, please notify your local tour guide or your travel advisor immediately to avoid the potential for similar problems happening again during your trip.
In the event of a complaint or claim for compensation, you must inform us by email, regular mail, or facsimile in writing within 15 days from the end of your tour. Relevant receipts and substantiating evidence must be attached to the letter of claim. Responsible Asia will not be liable for any claims made later than 15 days after the completion of your tour.
