Hanoi – the capital of Vietnam, is Vietnam’s cultural heart, bearing traces of centuries of changing dynasties. Today you will explore the most remarkable places of this charming city. 

Your tour guide will meet you at the hotel lobby at 8:00 am and take you to Hang Be market. This market is located right in the heart of the Old Quarter and has been serving local customers for hundreds of years. Explore the stalls with various goods and immerse in the vibrant history of the daily life of the locals. 

Then, head to Tran Quoc Pagoda – the oldest temple in Hanoi, dating back to the 6th century, during the reign of Emperor Ly Nam De Dynasty (544 – 548). The original name of this Pagoda was An Quoc, but in the 17th century, it was renamed to Tran Quoc (protecting the country) by Emperor Le Huy Tong during the changes in Buddhist shrine traditions. Afterward, we will head to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, where you can deeply explore the life of the Vietnamese ethnic group through their history.

Have a stop at the restaurant to taste the local meals for lunch. 

In the afternoon, we will spend time visiting the Temple of Literature – which is well known as the first university in Vietnam- a rare example of Vietnamese architecture back in the 11th century. Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere in the beautiful garden of the Temple of Literature before visiting the Ho Chi Minh Complex (outside), where the great President Ho Chi Minh rests in peace. We will visit the traditional stilt house, where Ho Chi Minh lived and worked, and the respected One-Pillar Pagoda’s unique structure. From here, we will take you back to your hotel.

In the morning, you’ll head west out of Hanoi on a full-day guided eco-tour of the beautiful Ba Vi countryside. Your first stop is Ri Village, where you’ll enjoy welcome drinks and snacks with Mr. Duoc, a Vietnam War veteran and tea plantation owner. Listen to Mr. Duoc’s stories about life during the war and visit his workshop and tea plantation, where you’ll learn every step of tea production.

Next, take a short drive to Moc Village, where Mrs. Chin will teach you how to cook Vietnamese dishes that you’ll enjoy for lunch in her tropical garden. Join Mrs. Chin for a walk around the village to visit families and learn how to make tofu, conical hats, and other regional products. Finish with an easy cycle through Vietnam’s iconic rice paddies, followed by a Muong herbal foot bath, before returning to Hanoi.

Your driver will meet you at the hotel lobby and transfer you to your resort in Ninh Binh. Upon arrival, you will have free time to explore this beautiful area.

06:00 Good morning the Bay by joining Tai-chi exercise at Ocean Sky Sundeck.

07:15 A light breakfast is served at the Harmony of the Sea Restaurant.

08:30 Transfer to Viet Hai pier by speed boat, where we’ll take an opportunity to explore the local life of an ancient village.

09:00 Arrive at the pier, you’ll choose to take a ride by bicycle or electric car to Viet Hai village. The 6km-ride takes you along a beautiful lagoon and a lovely cave to the hidden village of Viet Hai. Spend your time wandering around and interacting with the locals. Visit an ancient house and learn how to make rice wine. Refresh yourselves with a natural fish massage service.

11:30 Relax and enjoy your lunch in a local restaurant.

14:00 Transfer to Ba Trai Dao beach, it’s time for more swimming or just lying on a small & pristine beach and watch the cloud drift by.

16:00 Back to the cruise. Enjoy freshly prepared snacks and your favorite drinks while waiting for sunset on Lan Ha Bay. Take advatage of the Happy hours “Buy 1 get 1 free” drink program at the Spirit of the Sea Lounge and the Ocean Sky Sundeck.

18:00 – 18:45 Cooking demonstration of traditional Vietnamese dish.

19:00 – 20:30 A gourmet dinner menu in delighted fusion cuisine served at Harmony of the Sea Restaurant.

20:30 Enjoy Capella’s onboard recreations: the Cigar & Poker room; Board Games, chill at Spirit of the Sea Lounge, Night Squid Fishing, etc..

We spend a peaceful night onboard the Capella Cruise.

06:00 – 06:15: TAICHI CLASS – Good morning the Bay by joining Tai-chi exercise at Ocean Sky Sundeck.

06:15 – 06:45: BREAKFAST – A light breakfast is served at the Harmony of the Sea Restaurant.

06:45 – 08:30: DISCOVER LAN HA BAY – Visit the Dark & Bright cave by traditional rowing bamboo boats. Cruising to Bright Cave, you will see an angled passageway opening the cave at water level and a serene round lake surrounded by lush trees and precipitous stone cliffs.

09:00 – 09:30: CHECK-OUT – Cabin check-out procedure.

09:30 – 10:30: BRUNCH – Brunch served at Harmony of the Sea Restaurant after check-out while
cruising towards the port

10:30: GOODBYE – Back to Tuan Chau pier by tender boat. Farewell.

If you’re adventurous with food and enjoy exploring local cuisine, then this is a tour you’ll probably want to do. Hoi An city and food tour focuses on the unique local breakfast street food of Hoi An and some of the typical architectural styles of this town.
Your trail includes a leisurely stroll around Hoi An old town, passing by cultural attractions like the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls, a journey to the Hoi An Center market, and some hidden food treasures favoured by locals.

You’ll find out more on this single tour than in a month of random wandering. Enough food is served that most participants will not need lunch after the tour. We recommend you eat a light breakfast or nothing before the tour. Vegetarian options are also available.

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up and taken to Vong Nhi village. You will receive the bikes and start cycling through the village, covering a distance of approximately 6 kilometers. During the cycling trip, you will get to see the breathtaking landscapes of the peaceful countryside, including the green water coconut forest, prawn and red snapper farms, and the rustic beauty of the rice fields. Upon arrival at Thanh Dong organic farm, which is a 10,000 square meter organic garden supporting ten local families, you will take a short stroll around the vegetable garden and listen to the farmers’ life-changing story since they have started using organic methods of cultivating herbs.

Afterward, you will join the farmers in gardening activities such as preparing and applying organic manure to the land, raking the ground, sowing herb seeds, and watering or picking vegetables. Then, you will leave the farm to take a basket boat ride along the Do River to The Field Restaurant. While enjoying the beautiful scenery or fishing life of local villagers on the way, you will have a short cooking class and a Vietnamese family-style lunch or dinner. Then we will transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free. 

Your driver will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to Da Nang International Airport, where you will take a flight to Ho Chi Minh.

Upon arrival at the airport in Ho Chi Minh, the driver will meet you holding the signboard with your name and take you to your hotel.

This evening, catch a performance of the A O Show, a unique mix of bamboo circus, acrobatics, contemporary dance, Vietnamese music, and theatrical visual art. The show takes place in the iconic Saigon Opera House, built by the French in 1898. Performers use a variety of props, such as woven baskets, to depict the transition from rural to modern-day Vietnamese life.

This morning, take a leisurely boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong River, then proceed to visit Cai Rang floating market, which is the liveliest in the whole religion. See how each boat displays its products by means of hanging an example from its mast, and how the wholesale trade is processed. 

Then taste Vietnamese vermicelli soup and see how it is made at the local workshop. Then wander around the village and meet the friendly local people and experience how to cross a “Monkey bridge” which is built with only one stem of bamboo. Visit the orchard garden and stop for lunch before departing from Can Tho to your next destination.
