Day 2 Ho Chi Minh city tour - Cu Chi tunnels - Joint in tour

07:30 – 08:00 AM Take the morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars. 

Have lunch at local restaurant.

Depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served. 

Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun. 

Return to Saigon around 07:00pm. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3Saigon Food Tour - Taste of the night

05:30 pm, your personal English speaking tour guide will be waiting at your hotel lobby to meet and greet. We will do a quick instruction on how to drive safely and what you need to do in the back of our scooters. And hang on tight, let’s the journey begin!

2. Explore the city on bike and enjoy Vietnamese Pancakes and Noodles
We will go with the flow of traffic during the rush hour but we guarantee it’s not a big problem since we are good drivers. After 20 – 25 minutes, we will be completely outside of those tourist destinations and be at real local vendors, where you have a chance to try Vietnamese noodles, pancakes while learning about the history and also special significant of each dish.

3. Short Sightseeing
At this point, you will probably be quite full, so let’s take a short sightseeing, zip around the city, feel the cool of the weather, take a look at our amazing nightlife and slowly fall in love with Ho Chi Minh city.

4. BBQ Time
Feel relax yet? Here comes the traditional Street BBQ in Vietnamese style. What can be more authentic with a mini oven on the table and grill different types of meat and eat it instantly? Ooh, did i mention about local frozen beer, it’s a perfect place to have a drink for sure.

5. Vietnames Desserts
Are you full now, cause we still got our last stop for the dessert. Let’s try some Vietnamese sweet desserts that will leave a great taste and impression about our cuisine.

Day 4Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, Hanoi Half Day City Tour (In afternoon)

Your driver will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to Ho Chi Minh International Airport by private car, where you will take a flight to Hanoi – the capital of Vietnam.

Upon arrival at the airport in Hanoi, the driver will meet you holding the signboard with your name, and take you to your hotel by private car.

Hanoi Half Day City Tour (In afternoon)

In the afternoon, your guide will meet you at the hotel lobby and take you to visit The Temple of Literature. It is often cited as one of Hanoi’s most picturesque tourist attractions. Originally built as a university in 1070 dedicated to Confucius, scholars, and sages, the building is extremely well preserved and is a superb example of traditional-style Vietnamese architecture.

Later, we will visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex (outside) where the great President Ho Chi Minh rests in peace. We will visit the traditional stilt house and the respected One-Pillar Pagoda, the special pagoda with a particular structure. 
Then head back to your hotel. 

Day 5Explore Hanoi Like a Local

Begin the day by driving from your hotel through the historic Ba Dinh Square, where President Ho Chi Minh declared the independence of Vietnam in 1945. Marvel at the exceptional architecture and soak in the delightful atmosphere around this square. Proceed to Lenin Garden, a communal space frequented by locals. This presents an excellent opportunity to people-watch and gain a better understanding of their daily activities. 

Next, stroll through the narrow alleys of Hanoi, where family shops have been passed down through generations. Observe the locals’ daily routines as they continue to practice traditional ways of life in the alleys of Hanoi. Don’t forget to bring your camera to capture this unique experience. Continue your walk to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university, constructed in the late 11th century, and learn about its significance in the country’s history. Afterward, visit the intriguing Ethnology Museum, exhibiting the ethnic groups of Vietnam and serves as both a research center and public museum (closed Mondays). 

Enjoy a delectable lunch at a local restaurant before taking a leisurely stroll around the captivating Hanoi Old Quarter, exploring the enthralling maze of backstreets. Walk down the bustling street of Nha Chung, where several vendors gather to sell food and vegetables every day. 

Take a break at an old French house of a Hanoian for a cup of afternoon tea and learn more about the changes in local life and listen to family stories from each period. Finally, attend a Water Puppet show, a distinctive art form originating in the flooded rice fields of the Red River Delta in Northern Vietnam. Then, return to your hotel. 

Day 6Tam Coc - Hoa Lu - Rural Village - Thai Vi Temple (N)

• 15.45: Arrive at Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century, visit the temple of King Dinh. Under the introduction of our local quide, you will get to know more about the Vietnamese history.

• 16.20: Leave Ninh Binh and drive straight back to Hanoi.

Do I need to make a deposit? What is the payment process for my booking?

You will be required to pay a deposit when booking with Responsible Asia. The deposit will be 10% of the full payment. All deposits are non-refundable. Final payment is required no later than 30 days prior to departure unless otherwise stated. Some airfares or services must be paid in full at the time of booking.

What is your cancellation policy?

We would deeply regret your decision to cancel your trip to Vietnam and Indochina; however, we realize that there are many reasons for this event.
In the event of cancellation, we will refund any payment made to Responsible Asia Asia given that a cancellation fee is applicable.
The cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:
+ 60 days prior to arrival date: No cancellation charge. We Guarantee 100% Money Back. + Airfare cancellation fees (according to the airline’s cancellation policy) if any

Can I change itinerary?

Alterations to your itinerary before the booking is processed are happily processed free of charge. We want to provide the best tour possible for you. Alterations after you have received your booking confirmation letter will attract a fee of $10 USD per request.
Realistic Asia reserves the right to modify the itinerary of the tour if air schedule or surface transportation changes, and/or events beyond its control make such alteration necessary. In this event, any of the increase or reduction of the tour cost will be calculated and charged accordingly. If the tour is to be changed at the request of the client(s), the client will be required to pay any additional cost in advance.

What travel documentations should I prepare for my trip?

All clients must be in possession of a valid passport and necessary visas or permits at the commencement of travel. All such documentation is the sole responsibility of the client. Your travel advisor may assist you in applying for the necessary travel documentation upon request. Responsible Asia accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for the failure of clients to obtain appropriate documentation.
 

How I can make complaints and claims if any problems during my trip?

For dissatisfaction with any service Responsible Asia has provided, please notify your local tour guide or your travel advisor immediately to avoid the potential for similar problems happening again during your trip.
In the event of a complaint or claim for compensation, you must inform us by email, regular mail, or facsimile in writing within 15 days from the end of your tour.
