Day 1Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport (HAN), Transfer to Ha Giang

Transfer from Noi Bai International Airport to Ha Giang

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, your personal driver and guide will meet you and transfer you to Ha Giang by private car. This scenic route passes by some of Vietnam’s most remote and breathtaking landscapes highlighted by dramatic scenery, fascinating border towns, ethnic minority markets, and lush farmland. See on the way the encounter of ethnic people walking on the side of the roads carrying goods from one village to another. This northern region is populated mostly by hill tribe people belonging to the Tay, Red Dzao, Dzao Ao Dai, La Chi, and Co Lao groups. On the way, we will have a stop for lunch.

Day 2 Travel from Ha Giang to Dong Van With Seeing Quang Ba Valley and Yen Minh Pass

Drive 145km (90 mi) through the Dong Van Karst Plateau, designated by UNESCO as one of 77 global sites with important geological and cultural heritage and the second Geopark in Southeast Asia. On the way, you will visit Quan Ba Heaven Gate, where you will walk up to the top of Co Tien Mountain for marvelous panoramic views of the Quan Ba Valley. Then see the Red Dzao village of Nam Dam, the H’mong village of Lung Tam, and a textile workshop. You will explore the authentic traditional lifestyle which locals keep for hundreds of years.
Then enjoy the scenic drive through the Yen Minh Pass. Enjoy lunch and visit the ancient commercial town of Pho Bang and the village of Lung Cam where you can observe traditional Khen music and dance. Visit a unique century-old mansion, considered a national relic, belonging to the Vuong royal family who once ruled a vast area of the border region. From here we will transfer you to your hotel in Dong Van, where you will enjoy your free time resting after a big day.

Day 3Dong Van Sightseeing, Travel From Dong Van To Meo Vac Via Ma Pi Leng Pass

Spend the morning exploring the remote market town of Dong Van, set in an attractive valley populated mainly by the Tay ethnic group. The northernmost border town in Vietnam, just 3km (2 mi) from the Chinese border, Dong Van has a local market (open on Sundays), an old quarter lined with attractive homes, and other interesting neighborhoods. Facilitated by your guide, enjoy interacting with local people working in the rice fields.

Day 4Travel From Meo Vac To Ba Be With Sightseeing,

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the unique hundred-year-old Meo Vac market where you can find the cultural quintessence of all mountainous ethnic minorities in Ha Giang (only on Sundays). On another day we will take you on a short walk in a village nearby to get to know more about the local life and people. Then, the scenic drive downhill will take you to Bac Can Province, where you will see the largest natural lake in Vietnam located in the heart of Ba Be National Park are located, recognized as a Natural World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The road to Ba Be snakes through the mountains to the Tay village of Bo Lu, where you will visit a friendly Tay family in their traditional stilt house. Arrive at a homestay at Coc Toc village in the afternoon. Check in at the homestay and enjoy free time to rest in a peaceful quiet area. Dinner will be served in the homestay.

Day 5Boating And Trekking in Ba Be

After breakfast at the hotel, board a boat to travel the entire length of the three connected lakes of Ba Be (meaning “Three Bays” in Vietnamese) and up the Nang River to Dong Puong, an enormous 300m (984ft) tunnel carved out by the river through a limestone mountain. The boat proceeds downriver to the small and rustic village of Hua Tang. Enjoy lunch in a local house alongside the river before taking a short walk through the jungle to the very scenic Thac Dau Dang Waterfalls, a series of spectacular cascades between sheer rock walls. Return by boat to your local homestay to have rest and dinner.

Day 6Travel From Ba Be To Cao Bang With Sightseeing

Depart from Ba Be through the scenic road following the river that snakes from pass to pass through the hills of northern Vietnam, rarely traveled by tourists. This trip has a variety of interesting activities, but all is done at a slow pace. 
Upon arrival at the harbour, you will embark on a cruise, and enjoy the welcome drink meanwhile cruise team will introduce you to the cruise program. Then check out your cabin, where you will spend overnight. Then lunch will be served while you are cruising through the breathtaking scenery of the limestone rocks and the karst grottoes.
After lunch, the cruise will have a stop in a quiet cosy place where you can explore the limestone islets and caves closer by kayaking. 
Then continue cruising to one of the islands where you can have fun swimming or relax at the beach. Closer to the evening you will be back on a cruise where you will enjoy the sunset from the boat and take part at the activities prepared by the cruise team, and the dinner follows.

Do I need to make a deposit? What is the payment process for my booking?

You will be required to pay a deposit when booking with Responsible Asia. The deposit will be 10% of the full payment. All deposits are non-refundable. Final payment is required no later than 30 days prior to departure unless otherwise stated. Some airfares or services must be paid in full at the time of booking.

What is your cancellation policy?

We would deeply regret your decision to cancel your trip to Vietnam and Indochina; however, we realize that there are many reasons for this event.
In the event of cancellation, we will refund any payment made to Responsible Asia Asia given that a cancellation fee is applicable.
The cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:
+ 60 days prior to arrival date: No cancellation charge. We Guarantee 100% Money Back. + Airfare cancellation fees (according to the airline’s cancellation policy) if any
+ 59 – 30 days prior to arrival date: 5% cancellation charge. + Airfare cancellation fees (according to the airline’s cancellation policy) if any
+ 29 – 15 days prior to arrival date: 10% + Airfare cancellation fees (according to the airline’s cancellation policy) if any

Can I change itinerary?

Alterations to your itinerary before the booking is processed are happily processed free of charge. We want to provide the best tour possible for you. Alterations after you have received your booking confirmation letter will attract a fee of $10 USD per request.
Realistic Asia reserves the right to modify the itinerary of the tour if air schedule or surface transportation changes, and/or events beyond its control make such alteration necessary. In this event, any of the increase or reduction of the tour cost will be calculated and charged accordingly. If the tour is to be changed at the request of the client(s), the client will be required to pay any additional cost in advance.

What travel documentations should I prepare for my trip?

All clients must be in possession of a valid passport and necessary visas or permits at the commencement of travel. All such documentation is the sole responsibility of the client. Your travel advisor may assist you in applying for the necessary travel documentation upon request. Responsible Asia accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for the failure of clients to obtain appropriate documentation.
 

How I can make complaints and claims if any problems during my trip?

For dissatisfaction with any service Responsible Asia has provided, please notify your local tour guide or your travel advisor immediately to avoid the potential for similar problems happening again during your trip.
In the event of a complaint or claim for compensation, you must inform us by email, regular mail, or facsimile in writing within 15 days from the end of your tour. Relevant receipts and substantiating evidence must be attached to the letter of claim. Responsible Asia will not be liable for any claims made later than 15 days after the completion of your tour.
